My wife and I had an amazing lunch here. I recommend the Reuben sandwich and my wife love the chicken salad. Very friendly staff and prompt service. It's a small quaint spot that is very nice.

This place is not as much of a well kept secret as it used to be. The place at lunch is full. Here is the problem. They cannot serve certain hot dishes when really packed as many of the people are business people and they need to provide rapid turn around. This should not discourage you from coming however. They could serve the chili which is excellent and the sandwiches (not hot ones) are also excellent. It was a bit of disappointment for me as their Reuben (best in Mobile) cannot be served when very busy. Despite this, an excellent place with consistently good food and service and in general nice people.

Nice little place, and I really enjoyed my Cajun roast beef sandwich and cup of gumbo. I have to penalize a star, however, due to pricing. With tax and a reasonable tip, I just spent $17.50 for a soup and sandwich (both somewhat on the premium side, but still).

I was late to knowing about this place. I very much enjoyed the meals I've eaten here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I like that they offer Boars Head for their sandwiches. Stevie's is on my go to list for lunch, probably in my top 7. The only issue I have is that some days that the prices can keep me from swinging in for a meal.

I would eat here every day! The baked potatoes are the best and you have to try the gumbo! I have also eaten when they have catered events and it is just top notch!
